MSU VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) is a student-led volunteer organization at Michigan State University, in partnership with the IRS, dedicated to providing free tax preparation services to students at Michigan State University and the Greater Lansing community.

What We Do
Our IRS trained student volunteers assist low-income individuals and families with federal, state, local, and foreign tax forms at no cost. Through our program, volunteers gain hands-on experience in tax preparation, client service, and professional engagement.
